The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is presenting unforeseen challenges to the industry as major medical conferences are being forced to cancel in-person events and go digital. At Ferma.AI, we want to be as helpful as possible for you and your team and have compiled the below tracker.

American College of Cardiology/World Congress of Cardiology - March 28-30


Digital Conference Plan:

The meeting will now be held completely virtually. Per the organizers "The free "ACC.20/WCC Virtual" experience will kick off on Saturday, March 28 and will offer three days of science and learning. The meeting will feature "live" access to 23 education sessions including Late Breaking Clinical Trials, Featured Clinical Research, Young Investigator Awards, and Keynotes."

Advances in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Therapies An AAT-AD/PDTM Focus Meeting 2020 - April 2-5

Digital Conference Plan:

Meeting will be held fully virtually. Per the organizers: "Lectures will be held from remote locations; posters will be shared virtually. Forum discussions and corporate symposia will be webcast online and on time. Exhibitors will be able to meet online to discuss new collaborations."


Human Genome Meeting - April 5-8


Digital Conference Plan:

Meeting will be held fully virtually. Per the organizers: "The entire meeting will be streamed live with the ability for questioning and answering in real time. To benefit those in different time zones, meeting content will also be available on demand."


Canadian Respiratory Conference - April 16-18


Digital Conference Plan:

Actively exploring options for web-based coverage. Web-based program available shortly.


European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) - April 18-24


Digital Conference Plan:

ECCMID moving fully digitial. Per the organizers "we have taken the decision to deliver the entire ECCMID programme and congress materials online to all registered delegates and faculty. Also, we are making the necessary preparations to livestream as many ECCMID sessions as possible and give speakers and chairs the option to remotely participate in their respective sessions."


ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group 2020 Spring Meeting - April 29 - May 4th

Digital Conference Plan:

Per the organizers "We are working diligently with the Group Meeting planners and our committee leaders to prioritize sessions and identify options for accomplishing at least some of our work virtually. We are planning for selected meetings to take place during the original meeting dates"

ASCO 2020 Annual Meeting - May 29 - June 2


Digital Conference Plan:

Per the organizers: Our mission is as important as ever. That is why we still intend to deliver the latest cancer science to the global community during the Annual Meeting timeframe using a virtual format that respects the contributions of the authors and the work of the Scientific Program Committee. In addition, abstracts will be published online and in the Journal of Clinical Oncology on our usual schedule. ASCO’s educational program will not take place during this timeframe, and we are exploring opportunities for the future.
