Moderna’s novel mRNA-based personalized cancer vaccine mRNA-4157, encoding up to 34 patient-specific tumor neoantigens, was tested in combination with pembrolizumab in patients with resected high-risk melanoma. 18-month recurrence-free survival (RFS) rates (95% CI) were 78.6% (69.0%, 85.6%) vs 62.2% (46.9%, 74.3%) in the combination and monotherapy arm respectively.
